FEEDING INSTRUCTIONS
Adult Dogs: Begin with the recommendations provided and adjust to maintain body weight. Dogs may be fed once or twice per day. Feed AUTHORITY® dog food either dry or moistened with water. Provide your dog with a clean container of fresh water daily. An individual dog’s requirement may be different than this guide. Always consult your veterinarian with any health questions. See specific daily feeding instructions on package.
Recommended Daily Feeding Amounts (Using a standard 8 oz measuring cup):
Small (13-25 lbs):1-1/4 – 2 cups daily
Medium (26-50 lbs): 2-3 – 3-1/4 cups daily
Large (51-90 lbs): 3-1/4 – 5 cups daily
Extra-Large (90+ lbs): 5 cups*
*Add 1/3 cup for every 10 lbs over 90 lbs
Transition Instructions:
Whenever there is a change to a pet’s food, it is important to make the change gradually. Mix a small amount of the new food with the current food and gradually increase the new food over the course of a week.
