Caution: Never use soap, detergents, or cleaning agents while cleaning the aquarium or equipment as they can harm your fish. This is not a toy. Keep out of reach of children.
Advice For Use: Connect interior air stone to airline tubing and air pump (tubing and pump sold separately). Change out 25a??30% of your tank water weekly. Use a water conditioner and bacteria supplement (sold separately) every time you add fresh tap water to your aquarium.
To Clean: Rinse filter sponge every 2 to 4 weeks, or sooner if it’s noticeably dirty or there is a decrease in bubbles. Remove a portion of water straight from your tank. Separate sponge from filter assembly and submerge it in the removed tank water. Squeeze the sponge for a few minutes until all dirt and debris is released. Do not allow the filter sponge to dry out. Never rinse filter sponge using tap water as this will remove beneficial bacteria that is necessary in maintaining a healthy aquarium. If using this filter as a supplement, do not replace sponge filter and filter cartridge media in your primary filter on the same day, as this will greatly disturb the build-up of beneficial bacteria in your tank
