Instructions: Use 1 1/2–2 lbs of gravel for every gallon of aquarium water. Rinse thoroughly in cold, clear water before using. Never use soap or detergent, as they may harm fish. Place the rinsed gravel in your aquarium. When filling your tank with water, place a saucer on the gravel and pour the water onto the saucer. This will prevent the water from disturbing the gravel. Once your aquarium is established, do not wash the gravel. Use a gravel vacuum once a month, or as needed, to remove loose debris.
Caution: This is not a toy. Contains small parts. Keep out of reach of children. Children under age 13 should have adult supervision with setup, maintenance, and fish care.
Advice For Use: The aquarium gravel bed will become a home for beneficial bacteria which keeps your aquarium healthy. Gravel may contain minerals that affect the water pH. Monitor your water pH and adjust if necessary to avoid sudden pH changes. Refer to a pet care guide to determine the proper water pH for your pet.
